With all the recent collaborations that have made their way to the popular battle royale, players are wondering if they will ever get to see Hatsune Miku coming to Fortnite. Hatsune Miku is a software voicebank. Their official mascot is a human-like digital render of a 16-year-old girl whose art style is highly similar to anime characters.

Hatsune Miku has long turquoise ponytails and uses a computer-generated voice and 3D graphics to perform live concerts. She is Japan's most famous Vocaloid and has even garnered an international following, performing concerts all over the world. She has been featured in over 100,000 songs. Due to her immense popularity and Epic Games has already introduced many anime skins in the game, players have often asked for Hatsune Miku in Fortnite.

Can Hatsune Miku in Fortnite become a reality?

With the introduction of Fortnite Festival, a mode that allows you to perform songs and host virtual concerts, Hatsune Miku will be a perfect addition to Fortnite. Along with a Hatsune Miku skin, Jam Tracks of her songs, and perhaps a stage revamp similar to the Fortnite x Coachella collaboration, it will make a perfect addition to the game.

Despite the large outpouring of requests by fans to add Hatsune Miku in Fortnite, Epic Games has not made any official statements regarding this collaboration. However, there are several reasons for fans to be optimistic about Hatsune Miku coming to Fortnite. There is already a reference to her in the game.

Epic Games added a Frolic Emote to Fortnite in December 2021. The emote mimicked Hatsune Miku's infamous Leek Dance. The developers also added skin to the game that highly resembles that of a virtual pop star. In late 2022, the term 'Hatsune Miku Fortnite Skin' started trending online. This came shortly after the release of the Chapter 3 Season 4 Battle Pass, which contained a character highly similar to Hatsune Miku.

Lennox Rose, an Epic skin part of that season's battle pass, was potentially inspired by Hatsune Miku. The two skins share many resemblances. While Hatsune Miku is known for her iconic blue hair, Lexxon Rose allows you to choose between multiple colour choices for her hair. Rose's spectral style highly matches Miku's hair, giving both characters a very similar look.

Due to popular singers such as Eminem, Travis Scott and Lady Gaga being added to Fortnite all the time, fans can perhaps be hopeful to see Hatsune Miku in Fortnite soon. However, until Hatsune Miku in Fortnite becomes a reality, players will have to suffice with Lennox Rose.
